Importing midi into GarageBand

I’ve had some questions about importing midi files into GarageBand. Specifically, how to change the patch for each track (the sound that plays - flute, piano, etc.). I’ve used GB a little bit, but definitely not an expert. It’s easier to show someone how to do it rather than trying to describe it, so I made a screencast. Here’s another disclaimer: I’ve never made a screencast before! So what I’m sharing with you is a first attempt with absolutely no fancy equipment besides a USB mic. In the process of doing this, I learned a great deal about screen casting and also a lot about GarageBand!! I actually learned a BETTER way to import, and also the correct way to transpose a track!
