A Jubilant Song was written to illustrate the joyfulness and euphoric vigor of the Walt Whitman text. It contains exuberant rhythms that highlight the celebratory nature of the work as well as the vibrancy of the pseudo-percussive piano accompaniment. The multi-meter middle section really makes it dance! If you have an important celebration happening, this will fill the bill!

Midi rehearsal tracks assist choral directors in teaching exemplary choral music to their students quickly and accurately.  The accompaniment and all vocal parts are each on their own midi track. Using your favorite DAW, tablet, synth or other midi software, you will have control to mute/solo tracks, adjust tempo, track balance and pan, and access music locations quickly. Octavo Midi plays the notes and rhythms perfect every time while you focus your attention where it should be - on the students!

The downloadable zip file contains separate part-predominant MP3’s for each vocal part and a piano accompaniment file. Each MP3 file includes the piano accompaniment on the Left stereo channel and the voice part on the Right stereo channel, providing clear separation for the singer. Listen to the samples below.
